Incorporating: Eloquence Languages and Translations

The Early Years...,

Born in England, Judy was educated both in the UK and Europe. She travelled extensively with her family from a young age and learnt the importance of “communicating” effectively in different languages and circumstances early on. “I can remember attending business meetings and dinners abroad with my parents while I was still at primary school, and having to make conversation in two or three languages with people I had never met before. You soon learn to adapt culturally and to think on your feet.” She has lived in England, Spain, Monaco and currently France and today travels and works all over the world.

Skills and Motivation

Judy’s various skills and capabilities can be explained by her ability to adapt with ease and change fast with circumstances. Both market driven and motivated by her own personal areas of interest, Judy is passionate about everything she undertakes and her great strengths are her thoroughly professional and personally inspired approach to all that she does. Her talent, creativity and dynamism are appreciated by all who come into contact with her as, as her clients will testify. Read more...

Her energy and drive come from sport. As a former competitive athlete, Judy still pushes herself through a rigorous physical training programme true to her belief that physical and mental well-being are part of the same equation. “When you are used to following a gruelling middle distance training programme, you become naturally able to motivate yourself in other circumstances. Nothing is ever going to be as tough as an 800m race! Rising to a challenge today is a source of stimulation, not a chore”.

Translating and Interpreting

Judy is an Official and Legal Interpreter and Translator for the Monaco Law Courts and Palace. She has worked on the largest and most important criminal trials in the Principality alongside top level judges, magistrates and lawyers. She understands the need for the utmost confidentiality and discretion in this work.

“My first interpreting job in Monaco was pure coincidence. Having just arrived in Monaco, we were staying at the Hotel Mirabeau and I went along to see award winning British Hairdresser of the Year, Andrew Collinge, who had come to the hotel to conduct a training seminar. His interpreter had not shown up and when he found I spoke French he asked me if I could stand up and simultaneously interpret for him. So I did! After that we ended up running regular training seminars together in Monaco. Andrew later asked me to model for the Liverpool based Collinge hair salons which at the time were known as “Thatchers”. This gave me the dubious honour of having posters of my face pasted up in the Liverpool underground stations with the rather ambiguous caption: “Have it off at Thatchers”. Vive la communication!

Judy is Secretary General of Outward Bound Monaco Association, which she was instrumental in setting up in 2003. Today she organises their fund raising events and PR as well as coaching on the Monaco based course run by the parent organisation, The Outward Bound Trust UK. She has always been involved in charity work and believes in Outward Bound’s ability to seriously influence and change young people’s lives for the better.

Judy has worked and continues to work with a broad and highly demanding international client base, including VIPs from Royalty, Government and celebrities from the world of sports and cinema. Past missions have also included sports commentaries and press conferences for televised International Athletics meetings and television and radio interviews and appearances for various organisations.
